Niuscha Bassiri to teach the New York Convention Course at the MIDS programme in Geneva

Niuscha Bassiri will teach the course on “The New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards” at the Master of International Dispute Settlement (“MIDS”) programme.

The MIDS programme is a joint course taught at the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID). It provides the opportunity for in-depth study of all aspects of dispute settlement in the international arena, across the divide of public and private, with an emphasis on today’s most relevant fields such as commercial and investment arbitration, ICJ and WTO dispute settlement procedures. This course aims to deliver a broad overview on the complex topic of enforcement of arbitral awards under the New York Convention regime.
